The President's Letter - 2024

Dear Colleagues,

I hope this letter finds you healthy and well. As the President of the American Chiropractic Associations Council on Chiropractic Orthopedics (ACA-CCO), I am writing to share some exciting news and updates about our council and specialty.

First, I invite you to join us at the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists' (ACCO) annual convention in Dallas, Texas, April 18-20, 2024. The event will feature some of the brightest minds in our specialty and present an opportunity for networking and fellowship. You can also acquire all your hours toward the IANM's maintenance of credentials (MOC) requirement at this event. CE has been approved by most states. Check with the ACCO directly to ensure your state has been approved. You can register online at ACCO's website at https://acco.wildapricot.org/. I hope to see you there!

Secondly, I am proud to announce the launch of our CE Course Collaboration Agreement with the ACA. Through this agreement, the council will work with the ACA to provide accessible online continuing education concerning hot topics in chiropractic orthopedic practice, which will be delivered to chiropractic physicians and students. The content will be delivered through LearnACA, which is the ACA's web-based learning management system. In the coming months, the council will reach out to our membership to identify subject matter experts interested in working with us to develop one-hour online continuing education presentations. If you believe that you have a suitable topic, technique, or message to share with the profession, please reach out to me at drdoyle@doylechiro.com, and I will get you in touch with the appropriate staff to facilitate your course approval by the council and submission to the ACA for development and distribution. Members of the ACA-CCO will receive one free hour of CE per year through the LearnACA platform and will be eligible for 25% discounts on other CE offerings through LearnACA. If you are interested in serving on the committee that will evaluate and approve the proposed submissions to the ACA, please reach out to me directly.
